Resolution of H 3 proS and H 3 proR deuterations in [ 2 - 13 C ] glutamate

Introduction. Hydrogen turnover as detected by C NMR allows for the investigation of H-H exchange of the different hydrogens of C labelled glutamate isotopomers. We develop this approach to be able to investigate trafficking of various [C,H] labeled isotopomers, including lactate (lac) and glutamate (glu), between different cellular and subcellular compartments in cell cultures, perfused liver ...

Rovibrational spectroscopy of the v Ä 6 manifold in 12 C 2 H 2 and 13 C 2 H 2

We recorded rovibrational spectra of the 006 level of C2H2 and the 2131 1 level of C2H2 in the ground electronic state using a two-photon sequential double resonance technique with a resolution of 15 MHz. Owing to the g/u symmetry of acetylene, the levels that we observe are inaccessible from the ground state by single photon techniques, and observation of these levels is reported here for the ...

PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF [Ni (MAP) ] ; H- MAP = 2- (METHYLAMINO) PYRIDINE H. Aghabozorg* and H. H. Monfared

We have recently synthesized [Ni (MAP) ] complex [H-MAP= 2- (methylamino) pyridine]. 2- (Methy1amino)pyridine reacts with MeLi in THF and generates the lithium salt (Li-MAP). Further reaction of NiCl with two equivalent of this ligand in THF leads to the formation of a dark red solution. Analytical data, molecular weight, and magnetic susceptibility of this complex confirm the formula [N...

Jupiter ’ s hydrocarbons observed with ISO - SWS : vertical profiles of C 2 H 6 and C 2 H 2 , detection of CH 3 C 2 H

We have analysed the ISO-SWS spectrum of Jupiter in the 12–16 μm range, where several hydrocarbons exhibit rovibrational bands. Using temperature information from the methane and hydrogen emissions, we derive the mixing ratios (q) of acetylene and ethane at two independent pressure levels. For acetylene, we find q = (8.9 −0.6)× 10 −7 at 0.3 mbar and q = (1.1 −0.1)× 10 −7 at 4 mbar, giving a slo...
